Easter Slice - These choco-coconut slices are smothered in rich ganache and topped with a white chocolate egg for an Easter twist.
- Brown sugar – 1 cup - Buy Now
- Plain flour – ½ cup - Buy Now
- Whole wheat flour – 1/3 cup - Buy Now
- Baking powder – ½ tsp - Buy Now
- Desiccated coconut – ½ cup - Buy Now
- Cream – 1/3 cup - Buy Now
- Coco powder – ¼ cup
- White chocolate – 100 gm
- Chocolate block – 200 gm
- Egg – 1
- Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
- Butter – 150 gm
Step-1: First, take one large bowl, add 150gm butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla extract and mix all the ingredients well. Stir till mixture becomes fluffy.
Step-2: Now add ½ cup of plain flour, 1/3 cup of whole wheat flour, ½ tsp baking powder, ¼ cup coco powder, ½ cup desiccated coconut and mix them well.
Step-3: Spread this mixture to the greased rectangle pan. Put this pan into 180°C pre-heated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Wait till the pan is at room temperature then remove it from the oven.
Step-4: Melt 100gm white chocolate and give them the shape of eggs. Keep these eggs aside.
Step-5: Take one microwave proof bowl. Add 200 gm chocolate block, 1/3 cup of cream and combine them.
Step-6: Heat this mixture in microwave for 2 minutes. Stir it every 30 seconds.
Step-7: Now spread this chocolate mixture on the chocolate base we made. Wait for 2 to 3 minutes until the chocolate sauce sets on base and then cut the base into small squares.
Step-8: Easter slice is ready to serve. Garnish it with Easter chocolate eggs, those we made, while serving.
